What are you all having read during the unity candle ceremony? We're trying to figure out the perfect thing!

Hmmm, I didn't think there was a reading during the lighting of the unity candle. I've seen it where there's singing during this time.

Yeah, i know in my church there isn't a reading there is a song that is played. We are having 'the Wedding Song'

There is no reading during the unity candle lighting in a Catholic mass, usually a song will be played or sung at this time.

We had an interfaith ceremony at the hall. The pastor explained the meaning of the unity candle and then we did the lighting. We didn't have a song.
