What song did you use while lighting your unity candle?

Havent thought about it. Isnt it ave maria or however you spell it....

Btw does the church give you the candle or is that something you have to buy seperate?

My sister sang a song during our candle lighting.....it was a song from a broadway show.

I didnt get married in a church, but im pretty sure you have to buy it seperate.

We are going to use the Irish Wedding Song for our unity candle lighting.

We have our own unity candle; but you can always ask your church if they have one they let couples use.

we are using 'Grow Old With Me' by John Lennon. The musical director at our church recommended it and I started crying when I heard it.

As far as the candle goes, we have to supply our own.

I put ave maria down on my list but i have it as my prelude as well not sure if that will be weird having it twice so that's why i wanted some ideas.

idk anymore lol i guess i'll keep it simple since the church is supplying the music i dont want the organist to go crazy lol

My situation is a little different....Im getting married at the RH and I am doing a sand ceremony instead of the unity candle. I think Im going to go with Celine Dion, 'A new day has come' during that interlude.
