I was planning on doing these as DIY projects, but I'm not going to have the time. Any suggestions on where to find nice ones? I don't like the unity candle styles they have at Michael's, but haven't checked A.C. Moore yet.

i planned on doing it myself too-- and ultimtely threw out every creation i came up with. 2 of my BM's ordered mine from somewhere and it was gorgeous... it had our names and date like etched into it in silver-- with a claddagh on top... I'll try and find a pic- and get hte info for you -- just FM me :)

Don't know how religious you are but I bought my sister a gorgeousUnity Candle from the Catholic Supply Store in Roosevelt Field that quote First Corinthians!

theyre quick and easy.. check out my album... I just threw some vellum paper in the printer, pinned it on a pillar candle and voila.. finished..
they took 10 mins MAX for each one.. HTH

used this for my unity candle.
I made my own memory candle. JUst hot glued ribbon the top and then used vellum paper for the names. it was sooo easy...really!

Thanks everyone!
I actually found my unity candle on Ebay by chance. Our wedding ended up turning into a Disney theme by accident, so I got one that says 'And they lived happily ever after' and our names. I think I might take the time to make the memorial candles, because those are important to me. Thanks for the suggestions ladies and the moral support that maybe I do have time to make something for this wedding myself!

Can you put stickers on a candle? I want to make my Unity Candle look a little fallish. I am just wondering if it will stick.
The other questions is....the ribbon is high on some of these. Are you afraid it will get lit?
That is my biggest fear!

Have you ever seen those rub on letters? I bet they make leaves too, and those would probably look even better than stickers. I'm sure Michael's sells them. I used to use them when I was younger on my notebooks and thought they were the coolest things!
