Unity Candles

To make the candles, tape a sheet of white tissue paper to a piece of regular printer paper and print out your wording. This works best with a lazer jet, not ink jet, printer. Then I took a heart stamp, kinda hard to see in this picture and stamped on the tissue paper. Next, trim the tissue paper to just around the stamp/wording and put the tissue paper on the candle and wrap a piece of wax paper around it. Use an embossing gun (usually found by scrapbooking/stamping supplies at Michaels. About $20, but use your 40% off coupon!)and briefly heat the wax paper until it melts. Be careful not to overheat! Then peel off the wax paper. The tissue paper stays on the candle. It's VERY easy and I'm so happy with how they turned out! You'll probably have to try a few to get it down just right. I think it's a perfect favor or gift to the bridal party! I got the candles 4/$1 at Big Lots.
