Unity Candles

I think this is the next thing I'm going to get. Where did you guys get yours? I think I am going to DIY the candles, but not sure what to do about the holders. Did you get one that holds all three or 3 seperates candle holders? Thanks for any feedback

Re: Unity Candles

I didn't DIY the candles... I went to a place in Deer Park called Curiously Creative Candles. They make the candles right there in the shop. Their unity candle selection is amazing - you can pretty much get whatever you want. He is even going to personalize ours for us! And, they are the same price (or even cheaper I think) than buying the candle somewhere. It cost me $30 I think, for this gorgeous hand-dipped candle. I am picking it up next weekend so I will post pics!

I figured I'd get everything at Michael's too. Are your holders seperate, or one to hold all three?
Thanks Jess

Re: Unity Candles

my mom is making mine - 3 candles from michaels, ribbon and some silk flowers for the bottom, and some other type of decoration, a glue gun and 3 separate holders from walmart. I think its way cheaper than the prepackaged ones (and none that i ve seen have been what i wanted and many so expensive)

My unity candle is a DIY and in my album. I chose 3 separate holders b/c I want to be able to use them again. I bought the candles at ACMOore.

Re: Unity Candles

i just got plain silver holders from michaels...they have them separate in the candle section.

u can get all the supplies there and it just depends what u want it to look like. from what people have posted here...either a glue gun or vellum tape or double sided tape, vellum (or other paper) or ribbon.

they do have the 'unity sets' in the bridal section too
