For those brides doing a unity candle- are you supposed to buy just a unity candle, a unity candle + tapers or a unity candle, tapers and a holder?
I'm trying to buy one and wasn't sure if I needed everything or just the candle.

I'm getting married at our RH so we bought the unity candle, the 2 tapers, and a holder. If you're getting married in church they prob have a holder you can use.

I bought everything on ebay. The church may have a holder I never asked, I saw a holder I liked on ebay and bought it.

We're getting married outside, so we bought...
the large candle (orange) a large hurricsane glass (for the large candle) 2 small candles (orange) 2 candle holders 2 white tapers, and a small white candle in a little candle holder in case my small orange candles blow out in the wind.

You'll have to check with your church and ask about what they offer/suggest.
