We've decided to do thumb prints. Our ceremony will not be traditional so we weren't even sure of doing one, but I saw one of those guest thumb print tree pictures and fell in love. As all the guests arrive they will fill our 'family tree' with their thumb print. Then during the ceremony, we will seal our families into one big family, by adding ours. I think it will be beautiful and a nice keepsake afterwards too since it will all be done on canvas.

A washable ink pad, that they can dab their thumb on and simply press onto the canvas, yes on the table there will also be wet naps and a waste basket so everyone doesn't have inky thumbs all night hehehe

Cute ideas. I went a wedding that did the wine ceremony. They sealed the wine with letters in a box to open later. It was cute. I'm not sure what ill be doing yet but I'd like something 'different' as well!
