Re: unphotogenic...

DONT SAY THAT!!
You will lookbeautiful on your wedding day.. You'll see once you have on your dress, and makeup and your hair is done and you smiling with joy because you are marrying the man you love.. the camera will pick that all up..
Just smile

Re: unphotogenic...

Don't worry about it. The photographer knows how to take the best pictures. He will take them from different angles and he will know how to get you at your best. I'm sure you'll come out beautiful!

Re: unphotogenic...

I would also make your photographer well aware of yourfears as well.. perhaps he can take some unsuspected shots.. those usually come out better than the prepped ones..

Don't worry about it. you will look beautiful!!

I have NEVER seen an ugly bride!!

re: B/W pics

It is true about the black and white photos, they capture light better and give a softer look that is always more flattering. Get a pic that is so-so developed in B/W, you will see a huge difference.

re: B/W pics

I agree with Stef...the pictures of me in b/w I love...others I nickpick everything about myself...

I received 1000 proofs and thank goodness I did...b/c now I can comfortably choose the pics for our albums...

but remember...people are not as critical of you...my DH would say 'you look fabulous in this picture' and I would look at it and moan...

also I read that we don't like the way we look in pictures, b/c we are used to seeing mirror images of ourselves...(left side is on left)...but in a photo your left side is on the right...so it looks a little strange in our head...

Re: unphotogenic...

I have the same fear. I am SOOOOO unphotogenic!!! I've broken my nose three times so when I have a picture taken it looks like my nose is crinkled up on one side. The only way to describe it would be like just as the picture was being taken I smelled something bad! I HATE having my picture taken!!!

Re: unphotogenic...

2 times horseback riding and one time by a ex-boyfriend...I went to tickle him and his elbow shot up and hit me in the nose. Left me with a slightly crooken nose that you can't really tell in person but really shows up in photographs.
