untraditional make up trials

Hey ladies,

Are any of you not wearing the 'traditional' wedding makeup? I don't wear makeup on a daily basis and I really want a natural look for the day of. I prefer more of a matte look on my eyes with earthy tones as opopsed to the shiny look that I feel most makeup artists push you toward. Is anyone else going for a more matte look....do you have any pictures that you could post?

Thanks girls! I just feel like I am being encouraged to look a certain way because it will supposedly look better in the pictures, but I'd rather feel comfortable and look natural in person.

i have a little bit of shine on my eyes, but i think the overall look is fairly light and natural like i wanted...i used Jacqueline Nicole w/ airbrusihing..FH hates when i wear alot of makeup & he liked the way i looked..HTH!

i went thru magazines & ripped out pics of the more natural looks as reference and told her what i wanted...and it photographs well, didn't look too heavy in person either.

Im with you , I dont wear much makeup to begin with , I dont want the glam look, I happen to like it on eveyon else, but beacsue I dont norm wear that much i look like a clown if i do
