Hey ladies. so don't make fun, but I have no idea what 'uplighting' is. I see a lot of the brides talking about it in relation to their dj packages. What is it? Is it worth the extra $$ (I'm on a tight budget)??? TIA!

Re: Up lighting??
I think the uplighting is really worth it. It can transform a beatiful room into a spectacular room. Its not a necessity bc all RH's have gorgeous rooms. But I think it def adds something. I had uplighting and it changed through the night so alot of my pix were really cool with different backlighting.

Re: Up lighting??
it's nice to have uplighting if you are in a room with no windows or if you are having an evening reception or if your RH tends to get dark oncethe sun goes down (such as our RH which is why we are getting uplighting). If you are having an afternoon wedding, then I don't think it's necessary to have it, though it really all depends on the look and feel you are going for in regards to the reception.
