Okay so my fiance and I got engaged 2/8/2010 but didn't want a long engagement and booked our date for 8/21/2010.... ! So my planning has been quick to say the least- We have a venue, a dress, FG dresses, video and photographer. We interviewed with one DJ - Top Hat Entertainment - and I liked them. I thought they were professional , had a lot of experience, and quotes us $1100 for ceremony, cocktail and reception music. Budget is very important to us!
Does anyone have any suggestions to other DJs b/c my Fiance is wanting to interview more before we choose the first one!

There are plenty of DJ's out there... if you go to the Vendors link at the top of the page you can find a list... but that price is really really good... you wont find anyone cheaper probably...

i'm not sure if you're getting a DJ and an MC, or just a one man show .... i think one guy doing both would be a bit cheaper.
i'm using Variety Music ... they'll email you their prices list if you ask

I am fine with a one man show. I think they e-mailed me prices and I think there quote was a bit higher. I will look again!
