My mom found a dress that she absolutely loves...she loves it in black though. She said she would get it in a dark gray color...but I know she loves the black.
I really don't want her in a black dress...considering it's black..and it is a day wedding. What do you girls think?
ps...she said she loves it in the dark gray color just as much as the black...
UPDATE!!!!! Ok, well we went tonight, and my mom decided to go with the dark gray..pewter...it looks really good on her...so she is happy, I am happy...we're all happy!! She really felt the same about the black and pewter she said, so her decision was to shy away from the black. Which, is great with me!! Thank you everyone for your views on this!! Oh, and my girls bought their dresses as well!! YAY!!

My FMIL is wearing black. At first I was upset, but now I just think it is best that she feels good and loves the dress.

my mom was gonna get a black dress - it's a formal color and looks stunning in pictures next to a white/ivory dress!
