Update
It has been a while since I posted last. Things have been crazy at work. I am a teacher but I also advise a competitive club and all the competition materials were due today!!!! Very stressful. Now I can start focusing on planning :)
While my FH and I booked our band a few months ago, my parents saw them for the first time last night. My parents are both very opinionated and I knew that I would be able to read them right away whether or not they liked the band. I was so nervous all day leading up to the showcase, but it turned out they LOVED the band and wanted to get up and start dancing during the show.
While my parents liking the band may seem so trivial, this was a huge feat as my parents (well really my mother) and I have not always seen eye to eye on all this wedding stuff. Such a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Last night made me soooooo excited to start this whole planning process again!!!!!!!
