good luck!! how sweet a beautiful christmas themed wedding :)

you could decorate so nicey!!! we started looking during christmas and saw how nice the rooms and halls looked in every place

Yay! That would give you plenty of time and the savings?? Sounds great!! And there is sooooo much you can do with Christmas themes/colors flowers.

Check out my dream bouquet (in my album) its made of white amaryllis which is a winter flower.. I'm praying I can still get it in April lol but it would be perfect timing for you!!

If you were still considering the friday in March, just FYI...I've been told by my priest that if we had a celebration (like a wedding) that fell on a Friday on Lent, its ok for you to eat meat and just sacrifice a different day that week (say the thursday before).

Sounds like you are set on the new Dec date, but just in case you wanted to still explore the March option!

RH does not have March 31st available, but has that Friday before ...however during that time it is Lent and many of our guests would not eat meat, and I find this to be a waste of money. So my next date in mind is December 8th. Still the same savings =)) I hope this date works!!

Yes this a great plus for us being that the church will be decorated as well as the RH!! I am very excited for the date. If all goes well for the food tasting then we are BOOKED!!!

BTW, your RH is just so beautiful around Christmas time. My FH lives about 5 blocks away and I stare at it each time I visit him =)))

RH's are gorgeous around Christmas time & Churches usually have flowers around that time of year too! Less decorating for you

Yes if December is our new date, this will increase our funds and plenty of time for me to plan! I LOVE this time of year so adding that I will be marrying my hunny, this is super exciting for me!! I love all your albums of flowers. I think I am going to do my colors of reds, golds and green! What do you think of that?

I contacted my priest, he told me the same thing about eating meat on Lent which is okay. However, I decided to do it on a Saturday since they gave us the same price, which is GREAT!! A lot of our guests are coming from Suffolk county so it would be hard to do that, and I want everyone to see our ceremony is possible. My FH is the first born on the father's side, which is a BIG deal in their family. THE KING is getting married!!

I think the white flower theme in April is GORGEOUS!!!!! I hope they are available for you as well OR maybe you can mix n match silk flowers with real flowers if they aren't available.. Just a thought =)

It's gorgeous!!! At first I thought it was an actual INN, and I wanted to stay there for a weekend. MY FH crashed my dreams LOL My friend had her shower there recently..the food was delicious!!
