with the #$@#$ programs! what a huge task... and it seemed so small and innocent before I started.......
Mass readings and music have been finalized. the program is now written, formatted, proofred by me, FH and the priest, printed, and folded!
All that remains is hole punching at the crease, and the addition of a ribbon to literally tie the whole thing together
I think I'll recruit FH to help me finish-up this monster tonight. I will feel AMAZING when I can put all this stationary away for good!!!!

Ugh..im so not looking forward to working on those. You're so right..they seem so easy to do, but I know its going to be a major pain in the butt..

sigh.... it's a premature congratulations!
I bought 2 hole punchers from michaels, and both of them don't work
such a pain in the @$$ Now I have to go back to them and find another puncher... not to mention my fantasy that the @#$%#$% programs would be done tonight is gone

FYI- the junky hole punchers have plastic handles.... don't buy them...

I hear ya sister! But i'm not doing programs bc they looked like they would be a pain in the arse to do. But I got menu's and other stuff that is just as painful!

out of all the crap I did so far for the wedding, including sewing my own ornate ring pillow and making my own favors, the program officially trumps all.
And YES, even worse than extracting addresses from FMIL for the invitations
70% of the pain so far has involved making decisions about the mass so I can write up the program... selecting readings, prayers, music.... and then formatting, selecting fonts, and proofreading....
The remaining 30% of the pain involves the 4+ trips to michaels for stationary, tools, and ribbons, and one additional crusade for the perfect ivory paper...
4+ trips becuase I'm going again tomorrow, to find hole punchers that AREN'T broken
