update: DIY SHOES Which shoes? Or recommend? w/ poll

So I'm really pressed for time, fitting is scheduled soon... and I really want to make what I have work... so I DIY my shoes (double sided tape and rhinestone but seriously, maybe it will work?)

I can glue gun them in when I have design figured out. I don't like this design... but concept wise? What do you think?

My dress:

More pics in Dress Album , but its a little different there is actually a lot of little pearls you hardly see beeded inside the circles.

Now I have the dress in my hands and comparing my shoes side by side.

Well, I bought these before I even had a dress, or a venue. I wear something very similar in black all the time to parties. But these shoes are so boring to me know, and they are just blah against my dess.

SHOE #1

But then when we finalized venue I realize oh no my ceremony is on grass, I might need wedges!
So I found these adroable ones. But against my dress, they just don't stand up. I want the dress a little shorter in front, like 1' so my shoes peep out and to show off the wonderful flow of the fabric on my dress.

SHOE #2

Now I'm stuck, I don't like either for my dress, what do you think any recommendations?

I chose shoe #1, but #2 is pretty too and looks like it'll much more comfortable.

I think, with that dress, the first shoes. But I LOVE the second pair!

I chose the first pair as they are so pretty, the second pair are too clumpy for my liking. xx

Of the two I chose #1, but I agree with MyLobster, think strappy shoes would look best.

I love the first pair----and I LOVE LOVE LOVE our dress!! I've seen it before in my search! If I find any wedges I'll pass 'em along! Maybe you could add some rhinestones onto those wedges or something to help them stand up to your dress :)
