Update!!! GTG in Brooklyn 5/31

Hi girls,

I am hoping we can have a GTG in Brooklyn. I know Sandra(springsandra) and Darlene(aryana0611) are interested in coming. Anyone else wants to join us? Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

So we are meeting this Sunday 5/31 at 12 pm. If any more people want to come please feel free to join us.

I guess we need to figure out if it would be on a week night or a weekend. My weekends are extremely busy between now and the wedding (we just decided on 6/27 for my bachelorette night!) but weeknights are a lot easier.

I can do the night of 5/30 (I have the Mets game during the day then) or a brunch on 5/31 if those work for anyone else, as far as weekends go?

What neighborhoods are you all in?

Well I cant on Saturday in the afternoon/morning and Friday evenings. Any day is good for me after May 28. Midwood

5/30 evening or 5/31 brunch sounds great to me. Darlene, what day is good for you? Are we the only Brooklyn/SI ppl?

HAVE TO GET BACK YOU ON THE DATE. MY FH PLAYS BASEBALL ON SUNDAYS SO JUST HAVE TO CHECK HIS SCHEDULE. AND SATURDAY HE WORKS AS WELL. I WILL HAVE AN ANSWER LATER THIS EVENING OR TOMORROW. WHERE WOULD WE MEET ?

I could come!! I'm in manhattan but will travel! as long as it's before the 7th b/c I'm getting married then!! I think I could do 5/30 or 5/31 brunch. .unless I am in last week panic mode keep me posted too. .

How about Sunday May 31st in Park Slope or Bay Ridge or Cobble Hill? I'm not sure what neighborhoods are easier for people.

I live in Park Slope and was at Miracle Grill (it's huevos rancheros type brunch food) on 7th Avenue Saturday around 11 am and it was pretty empty -- enough so that we could get a good size group in there without a problem.

I'm happy to travel to other neighborhoods too if someone has a preference or suggestion!

I know someone suggested we keep the final whereabouts a little more private so random people don't show up, but I want to try to keep the dialogue open about it as much as possible in the meantime to see what sort of interest we have.

5/31 is good for me. I can go to Bay Ridge its 30 min from me. Have you guys been to Mirage Diner on Kings Hwy?

It should be about 1 hour from Manhattan. Do you guys have an idea of what place you wanna go to?

i don't have a preference will be coming from greenpoint, bklyn so whatever you decide is fine with me. The best place in Greenpoint is Sea (asian fusion and best drinks ever and tacu tacu spanish with a twist) both are great hangout spots
