UPDAT!E!!!!! Jack has a TERRIBLE rash and 4 doctors dont know what it is!!
Im going to try to make an appointment with a dermatologist on Monday. They said it looks like a fungus but have never ever seen it on a face.
Its so scary to me that doctors cant even help me!
This pic was Thanksgiving morning and it is now worse.
After Ellidel and Lotrimax!!
My babys skin is now TOTALLY CLEAR!!!
I hadnt changed ANYTHING at all. He rarely even leaves the house. The doctors decided it was a fungus and they have no idea why it was on just his face and diaper area, but it was. He looks so much better now and hes so much happier. I was sitting here every day looking at all kinds of rashes. I can say it looked like measles more than anythign else.. but it wasnt.. So who knows!! Anyway thanks for all the prayers!!! Just wanted to let you know he is now more giggly then ever!!!

OMG Amy I'm soo sorry. Are there any dermatologists in the city that would be any better? I have no kids so I'm really no help but I feel bad for baby Jack!!!
I'll say a prayer for him and hopefully they find out what it is or that bad boy just magically disappears and never comes back!! Poor Jack!!

Aww the poor baby. I hope he feels better. Good luck! Dr. Daly at Garden City Dermatology in G.C. is great!! He's top of the field. He is in on Monday. I'm sure they would take you since its an emergency.

Awww...poor Jack.
My sister had yeast infections all over her body when she was a baby. It was really strange. Good luck with the dermatologist!

My daughter had exzema when she was a baby and thats what she looked like I hope he gets better soon

Awwwwee!! Poor Baby!!! Try Dr. Carl Liechter, he has 3 offices (Oceanside, Long Beach & Levittown). He's a great dermatologist.

I'm betting that it's a fungus or an allergy--but that's only because those are the only things I have seen in person before. does he notice it--pain, itching, crying????????
ETA--Did the doctors try anything to calm down whatever it may be?

Have you changed his diet in the last week? Or maybe his detergent or what you wash his face with? He could be allergic to something. My son also had eczema he never had it on the face like that but his neck, forehead, stomach, butt, and legs look just like that in the summer time. A dermatologist will be able to help out definitely and maybe they can refer you to a specialist to check him for allergies. Hope Little Jack feels better.

That's what my DH said too.
That's what I was thinking. It looks almost like hives......poor Jack. I hope they can figure out what it is. Keep us posted!
