Spoke to Harry and he made it very clear that there are NO INTENTIONS of them booking any parties in the time frame of pending renovations. They strive to make every wedding enjoyable and be the best out there and will continue to do so.
I am extremely appreciative of the fact that he called me directly to discuss this matter, as he wasn't available lastnight. Once again, they impressed me with their tact and class (something that myself should work on a bit) .

I'd be curious to know the answer to this too as my daughter is getting married there in 10/11.

please let me know if you find out anything. I'm getting married there in 5 months, and this is going to be a major issue with me as I specifically asked marianne if they were planning on doing renos when I booked (she said no)
I'm going for my tasting next week, so I'll mention it then if nobody hears anything back.

i thought they just did a huge renovation 5 years ago? My FBIL got married there and they were one of the first weddings after the renovations. I cant imagine them going through that whole process again! but who knows maybe its structural and they need to do it

Don't worry.....this is one of those posts that were meant to just....die off. You can speak to Harry...he'll be more than honest with you. I was actually jumping the gun.....there is no definite start date or anything. They wouldn't book weddings and not inform the brides.

No worries!! It was more my desire to keep this hidden...lol.....I completely jumped the gun and made a lot of people nervous for no good reason. It serves me right though.

We were looking at Larkfield....hence all the posts about it. But then fell in love with Sand Castle and booked last week.
