UPDATE!! My RH is making me want to vomit!!!

I can't get into it, but I am having SEVERE second thoughts about my RH. I went last night, and there was too many TURNOFFS that are making me crazed. FH isn't please with them AT ALL!!!! WHAT DO I DO???!!!

UPDATE!

Ok, so I talked to my BM and the problem is on its way to being resolved, and I am going up next week to see if the other issue will remain a problem... I am so relieved that my BM is cool..thanks for the advice...

I would first call and speak with your banquent manager and express your concerns. See what he/she has to say and go from there. Good luck!!

i agree with the other girls...before you freak out I would try to see what the BM can do for you. After that, If you really hate it and are having doubts perhaps you can look at other halls....but that will probably mean losing $$$.

I honestly dont know what ur talking about! ur hall is amazing! after FH came we walked all over the place jealous as hell! I told u, this was one hall we didnt look at out of them all and regretted that severely yesterday.
the only thing with the pool I dont think its that serious to make u doubt ur choice.
its a gorgeous place! the view, the decor - the fish tanks are so cool, the food (the pasta was really good) and the bridal suite is incredible

I agree with the other ladies! you should def call a meeting with your BM!! I personally think that place is gorgeous when i walked in there i was like oMG this is it! but the price just wasn't affordable for us! ...I've never been to a wedding there but its a very beautiful place good luck with everything Sandra!

If you don't like it, then take your money somewhere else! God knows you are spending ALOT and last time I checked, money does not grow on trees. If they can't work with you and meet your needs then they dont need your business..

Hey girlies, no the place is gorgeous. With out a doubt... its other things that are making me nuts, and there are certain situations that a lot of surf club brides are facing PLUS a big bad thing happened with the Valet and ohmigod you guys, I really love the RH but these things are adding up!!!!!

Definitely express yoru concerns, but do remember one thing - people like to talk about bad things, and people like to hear about bad things. It's like watching the news at night: out of all of the stories they cover, only a small handful are about someone doing something good for someone else. Likewise, people are more prone to complain about something than fawn over it.
Your RH has been around for a long time, and has had a great reputation throughout those years. Yes, I'd voice my concerns, but I'd also take a lot of stories with a grain of salt - for every bad story out there, there's quite a few good ones you aren't hearing about!

No I agree 100%. Last night at the bridal showcase, things were confirmed in a sense, and than we had a prob with the valet.

I called them, and I hope they get back to me. I really want to resolve things b/c I'm getting so sick from thinking about it...

Sorry to hear that you are unhappy about things....at least you have time to bring it to your BM attention and straighten them out. Try to relax....I am from Westchester and have never heard anything except great things about the Surf Club..your wedding will be gorgeous!! I am totally jealous!!
