Dad went to the Dr today. The Dr he goes to was the one who I guess you would say invented this medicine. Not only is the insurance companies not covering this- the manufacturer of this medicine doesnt want to make it anymore. There isnt a high call for it and its very expensive to make. So what its happening is the Dr has some people who are interested in manufacturing this coming to see him on Monday. He isnt sure what is going to happen but he told my dad to call on Tuesday to find out.
If he cant find anyone to make this - there are 2 other alternatives- 1) ultra-violet light with a cream (which my dad tried way back but didnt work as well) and 2) another type of cream that also doesnt work as well.
So again- please keep my dad in your thoughts that these people will start manufacturing it.
