UPDATE on Miss Piggy! BE CAREFUL PLAYING WII WITH ANIMALS AROUND!!!!!!

About 4:30 this afternoon FH was playing 'golf' on Wii and wound up to swing and cracked our kitten in the back of the head with the Wii remote - I literally dropped everything in my arms and ran after her - finally caught her by 4:45am - blood gushing out of her eyes - Grabbed my boots, put her in the carrier, called the 24 emergency vet place - luckily the opthamologist was in and as it seems no - as of 6:06pm she has been released to me to observe her and make sure she remains stable - she ended up having a conjunctiva hemorrhage - .. she seems better at the moment - took her temperature, pulse, respirations (temp was up but they said it could have been because of her pain/panicing) - Just PLEASE be careful with your animals/small children around.. I am sure it could have been much worse...

UPDATE: Well yesterday I think I had a huge panic attack when we were driving and Miss Piggy was in her carrier and she started to pant like a dog - When I spoke with my Vet this morning, she explained that my panic attack could have induced her to have a panic attack - she has been feeling MUCH better and honestly will NOT leave my side.. Thanks all for caring.

I just made FH promise that he wouldn't play the Wii near our kitty. He kinda teared up when I showed him this.

omg that is terrible. i can't even imagine how scared you were. i am so sorry. your poor kitty. i am so upset for you right now. DH wanted to get a Wi now we are defin not. I could see something like this happen with our Lab b/c he gets too excited when ppl are jumping around and stuff.

omg this sounds terrible I can only imagine how terrible FH feels...I hope she gets better real quick...heres to a speedy recovery and for your blood pressure to come back down

OMG you poor thing! Glad to hear she is feeling better! I just read an article online about a similar situation with a puppy getting hit in the temple with a wii remote... I almost hit my cat as well because he goes after the strap on the remote...Its really scary you never think about these things when you buy a wii! ... Be careful everyone! Keep us updated

Oh poor baby!!!! I hope she will be alright (I love kittens) please keep us updated on her.
