Update on my aunt / mom

A few weeks ago I posted about my aunt, who was diagnosed with breast cancer but had surgery, etc., and my mom, who had a suspicious mammo. I'm happy to report both are FINE.
Re: my aunt / godmother, they removed the BC and then did some tests, and found it in like ONE lymph node. So they removed that and were waiting for some tests to come back. All are done and everything is 100% fine.
Re: my mom, she had a cat scan and a MRI, and both came back fine.
My grandmother died of breast cancer in 1987, my grandfather (her husband) died of colon cancer in 1986 and my mom's oldest sister died of brain cancer in 1997, so cancer is .. well, there just seems to be a lot of it in my family. So this is great news that they are both fine. My doc recently gave me a script for a mammo too, even though normally she wouldn't give one until 35 even with a strong family history. I don't know if the insurance will allow it - I have to call - but I am going to get it (I'm bracing for the pain now, I have small boobs) just in case.
