Update on my baddd realization

So FH and I spoke with our RH they wont move our ceremony time they said someone will definately book the afternoon so we cant interfere with that party.

Now im torn because part of me is ready to cancel my contract and say f**k them im spending A LOTof money there and you wont even push it back to 630 or 7 so I can take some damn wedding pics! but I really do love it there and would prob lose my deposit... which would suck

Any thoughts on where else we can hold our ceremony and just use our RH that im currently realllllyyyyyy extremely unhappy with for the reception?

As of right now I realllyyy want the first time he sees me to be when im walking down the aisle

I need to find like an interfaith chapel or ceremony only location, or I may change RH's we'll see when I calm down some more

But the reveal is private, you get the same first time moment, the photographer will capture it...ok, you said no to that. So, you'll have to look into a church for the ceremony that will be available that day at a decent time. Just don't tell them you already booked the RH, I hear they don't like that.

Maybe the reveal isnt the worst idea now that you put it that way.. its something ill think about more.

we can't get married in a church because FH is jewish so it really has to be somewhere the allows the interfaith thing I heard some chapels are interfaith im sure there has to be somewhere that does ceremonys only at like 4 or 5ish

Well, don't rule out the reveal. I've seen some beautiul reveal photos. What makes them really special is that you and FH get to share that moment alone, with the photographer, and it's extra private. I love the sentimental value in that. Then, he still gets to see you come down the aisle, which will still make his heart skip a beat. I'm not trying to push it but just don't completely rule it out yet.

If you decide on an interfaith chapel, think about when you will do your pics. Will it be before or during CH? If before CH, how much time will you have between the ceremony and CH? How far will guests have to travel? How much will it cost? Lots to think about. (Don't mean to stress you out more) Just wanna help you get your notebook out and start jotting down questions, this way you can plan your Plan B.

Yes the notebook is out and plan b is trying to form...and back up plans too! FH and I definately need to sit down take a breath and seriously discuss what our best move is especially since we have 626 days to figure this all out lol

They wont move the ceremony up at all. The earlier party would end at 5 but apparently they need 2 1/2 hours to 'clean' I have a bad taste about them currently and im still seriously considering cancelling my contract and looking for an RH that will be more willing to work with me... but I dont want to make a crazy decision out of anger I still need calm down time

The only other place I looked was Riviera I'm a crappy bride really LOL.. no I just fell in love.. so I'm going back on a RH search.. I may make an appointment with my RH to sit and talk to them in person not through emails/phone calls about my concerns and see what can be worked out.
