Update on my FIL

He went to a neurologist today. He choose to meet with this doctor for a second opinion before he would get brain surgery. The doctor strongly advised my FIL to not have surgery. He said at his age (69) he has a better chance of living with the aneurysm being there is a 7% chance it could burst.

If he were to get surgery he has a 50/50 chance. There is a 50% chance he wouldn't make it and another 50% chance he could have serious, serious side effects such as blindness, he could become paralyzed, suffer a severe stroke...etc.

They came to a decision and he is not getting surgery

My FIL is SOOOOO happy!!! While I was speaking with him I could just hear the happiness in his voice which brought tears to my eyes.

Just thought I'd share the exciting news with my LIW girls. Also, thanks again for your thoughts, prayers and wonderful support because it worked and I couldn't thank you enough
