update on my hating my carseat post
well like i said, we got the graco - but just as a last ditch effort, I took all the 'comfort' things out of the Peg. My DH had gotten the Eddie Bauer little soft thing that goes around the head, and these little padded strap covers wtih bears. I took all that out and tried one more outing.
The baby was a total dream. Now I don't know if this is related, but it was like a different baby. She woke up at one point in the seat (which was normally the beginning of total disaster) and she smiled at me and went back to sleep. Maybe all that stuff made it uncomfortable. It seems much roomier now. I am going to hold onto both, and see if this one continues working out. I would rather stick wtih what I have since i have the adaptors for my stroller and all that....I'll keep you all updated.
So an FYI. I think the Peg is a 'tighter fit' than the Graco. So stay away from adding padded head restraints, strap covers, bundle mes, or anything else that would inhibit the integrity of the design.
