UPDATE on my invite situation (to change, not to change) - er.... nevermind...see poll

Here's my original post explaining the predicament

Brief summary:
FH's cousin chose invites that were super similar to the invites I planned on using - hers are rectangle, mine were square. Her wedding is just a few months before ours. Good thing her invite came when it did - I was planning on order mine that week!

Instead of going with the similar ones that I absolutely loved, I decided to choose new ones.

Here's the proof of my new invite:

What do you think?
Is the wording OK?
FH doesn't care - he said they're fine. My mother said she likes the old ones better. I don't dare ask FMIL.

Thanks

I know how much you loved your original ones, but I gotta say, I REALLY like THESE!!!!!

As for the wording, this might just be personal preference, but since you are putting your FH's parents names, you really do not have to put 'Mr. FH's Fullname'. I personally think it looks a bit ... I can't think of the word, maybe awkward? with your name only being your first and middle names.

I would make it:

Nicole Marie
to
Richard MIDDLE

son of Mr. & Mrs.... etc

If you prefer to write his whole name, I would *definitely* remove the 'Mr.' in front of his name. I like symmetry and equality and in the way the names are written now, it gives more attention/importance to your FH, which is fine if you prefer that wording... JMO.

But it IS beautiful! And I really like the fonts you chose!

I agree with removing the 'Mr.' and I also think it sound better to say 'to' rather than 'and'. Other than that, I really love the new invites! They are gorgeous & the font is very pretty!

OK - new question!
The way I have it is
Mr. Richard Arthur [Last name] Jr.

So do I make it
Richard Arthur Jr.

or
Richard Arthur [Last name] Jr.

This is the confusing part!!!

And I can't change 'and' to 'to', because it says 'uniting their daughter'

These are beautiful.
I love the shape of the border. It looks so French.

Don't you dare ask FMIL - you will just get yourself upset.
