Update on my wedding and fmil...

According to the 'doctors,' she is running out of time..we have about a month, maybe two.

She has a tumor on her spine that causes paralysis and radiation did not help this - they just rushed her into emergency surgery-- which is so rare for patients with small cell lung cancer...they said this is her only chance of walking again - we have a 30-40% chance of the surgery being successful.


please continue to pray - & as far as my pre-wedding,,,we are having a small ceremony in about a week at the chapel in the hospital.


I know this is all a lot and I don't mean to ramble on and on - Just wanted to keep you all informed of where I am standing right now w/the wedding and my fmil.

I'm so sorry you and FH have had to go through this but as I've said before, I think you are an amazing FDIL and I'm sure that the strength you and FH have shown throughout this terrible ordeal has added to your FMIL's quality of life in more ways than you know. I know things seem hopeless now but don't worry that you are rambling here - talking will help you cope and we are all here to listen. I will keep your FMIL in my thoughts hoping that her surgery goes as well as possible.
