UPDATE on the BM and MOH griping about getting to the hotel 'too early' (with pics of hair trial)

So today I went to Cactus Salon in the Plainview shopping center and had a trial and I loved it!!! They said they can get me in the morning of my wedding and have me out with hair and makeup done by 11am, and it only costs $125 for hair and $55 for makeup. Works for me!!! So I scheduled the appt.

I get home and I get emails from both the BM and my MOH and it's exactly how I expected both of them to react. The BM relented and said she would be there at 10:30. My MOH however snapped back at me like I knew she would. Saying it was hard because we're getting married on a Sunday, saying that everyone in the bridal party has kids, so it's that much harder. Call me a biatch, but I think 11 months is more than ample time to make proper arrangements!!!! She is the only one who has a problem. No one else has said anything because they all made arrangements a long time ago. Then she had the nerve to ask me if my LIW friends are so great, then why aren't they in my bridal party??!! Then she said don't be surprised if she gives me attitude on the day of!!! It took all of my strength not to kick her out!!!

So I just sent them all an email telling them all that they are now on their own as far as makeup and hair is concerned. If it is easier to get it done the day before, then so be it. And I told them all to be at the hotel by 12:00, and if anyone has a problem with the time, then don't be in the bridal party.

I don't care anymore about this whole situation and that is a VERY dangerous place to be. But here are the trial pics from today at Cactus Salon. Note: The makeup I did myself because I didn't want to take pictures with done up hair and a bare face!!

you look gorgeous and i'm so happy that you stood up to them. theyve had ample time and they now whine about it. too bad they'll have to suck it up and deal with it.

It's amazing that they gave you all that crap for an hour and a half. I'm sorry they're doing this to you... this is NOT how they should be acting.

You will be in YOUR GLORY on your wedding day because you are marrying the love of your life... no one else matters... especially not an apparently jealous MOH. Nice that she guaranteed you an 'attitude' on your day. Ya know... I really would boot her if she said that to me - even this late in the game. Who needs her? Don't beg ANYONE to be in your bridal party... she should feel honored she's your MOH - not threatening you. You deserve more than that. I'm sorry!!!

You look beautiful in these pictures!

Not to stir anything up - but.... your MOH's and BM's are suppose to help make your day easier - not harder. That she is actually warning you ahead of time that she might give you attitude is absolutely not acceptable. Sounds like there is something else going on with her. Tell her to get on the team or get off!

Your hair looks great!! I will make this short and sweet if your moh is being such a biatch I would have a talk with her and if you have to ask her to not be in the wedding ,you do not want her negativity to cause you stress on the day of the wedding. If shes being a pain now do damage control so on your big day you will have only happy positive people around you.

Your hair looks beautiful, Janna. IMO, I think your MOH had no right to say that to you. But I'm that you made things easier on yourself by telling them whatever, do what you want. This way you don't have to worry about them and it's no longer your problem. I'm sure things are going to work out, and you are going to look gorgeous on your wedding day.

very nice! I am glad you said what you did. What nerve! Theyll just have to get theirs done on their own time. I mean what does your friend want you to do? Change the day of your wedding? Why is it so much harder on Sunday anyway? I dont get it!

Your hair looks beautiful (and your makeup too for that matter!!) I think you did the right thing, you were trying to make it easier for them by having hair/makeup set up for them.

Yes, let 's wait and see AND LAUGH when they have to organize it themselft and see what THEIR person tell them what time they have to show up.

I am happy to say.....

All of the other BMs have my back should my MOH try to get an attitude with me on my wedding day!! (I just spoke to all of them and they agree that she is being phucked up).

And they are all making their own arrangements and don't have a problem with it!!!
