Sometime ago you may remember that my daughter's Banquet Manager, Vincent, left WCC and she was concerned about who she would be getting. Last week we went to pick out the Menu and she was assigned to Peter. He was wonderful. He assured us that he would be available for anything we may need and he assured her a beautiful wedding. He brought in samples of food from a coctail hour that was going on and everything he brought was very delicious. If anyone still hasn't booked their reception, I suggest you go have a look. My daughter or I will post a review in just 40 days. It's coming quickly!

I'm glad to hear that about Woodbury. I recently booked my wedding there and the food at the tasting was delicious. I will be looking forward to your review and hope you can FM any valuable tips you may have. I just started planning the wedding and after going to many places, I fell in love with the grounds and the elegance of the rooms. I'm quite sure your daughter's wedding will be a beautiful one. Congraulations Frescabride. Thanks for your lovely sentiments. They just purchased new chairs and tablecloths for the cocktail room. I didn't like the ones they had before. We have the room upstairs and the indoor cocktail hour. My son and DIL had elaborate plans for outdoor cocktails and dessert table at their wedding 8 years ago at Fox Hollow and it rained miserably. I can't handle that kind of stress! Which room did you book?

Thanks for the good wishes !!! I also booked the room upstairs. I found it more elegant to have the cocktail hour inside overviewing the grounds. I also thought about the weather so in case it rained, I didn't want to have to worry about that. What colors are the new chairs/linens etc? I'm really excited and looking forward about the planning.!!

The tableclothes are a dark ivory and the chairs are gold (nothing gaudy!) with a little dot or diamond design. The old tablecloths were dark burgundy and green to match the rug, but they made the room look very dark

I saw those. I never got to see the burgundy ones. I think the dark ivory make the room look very elegant and the chairs' colors add the perfect decor.

The last time we went was in Feb. and they had the old ones. We went last week for the Menu and I had made up my mind that I would suggest to my daughter we rent table cloths for the cocktail hour if I still didn't like them. You can imagine my surprise when I saw they changed them.
When did you book it? Did you go for a tasting? Who is your Banquet Manager?
