Well, I ordered my save the dates from Vistaprint.com and I got them the other day. I hate them!! It's my own fault though. It is a picture of a red rose ( I listened to my mom) and I did the lettering in blue when I should have done it in white and it looks like s h i t! I only paid $50 dollars, so should I get new ones or say f-it and send them out anyway? BTW...FH hates them as well

I couldn't figure out how to make it smaller so I couldn't post it, but it is in my album under wedding stuff. I actually think the picture looks better then the actual STD. Truthful opinions please!

I'm pretty sure the company won't send new ones or discount it because they make you preview and 'initial'the final draft before purchasing and I think I remember seeing some kind of discloser saying once thats done its done. The same thing happened to me with my eparty invites, I made the font waaaaay too small and I ended up reordering them with bigger font. I say post a pic, see what everyone thinks and go from there. We do tend to be over critical of ourselves sometimes, they probably look great!

it depends on how much you hate them... we had my uncle do our STDs in photoshop and send them in for us (because I didn't have photoshop at the time) and he accidentally didn't send the most recent version. the spacing was slightly off and i noticed right away but we sent them out anyway, they still looked fine and i figured nobody is as anal as I am.

We did little magnets and all of my friends and family have them on their fridges!

if you absolutely hate your STDs, you should make new ones -- there are a lot of websites that are really cheap. people might have these up on their fridge for over a year -- if that bothers you then change it. they probably aren't as bad as you think they are though. i bet if I posted our STDs everyone would think they are great even if I would have preferred the latest version of the layout.

Either way, you can't really go wrong.

i took a look and i think you're right about the blue vs. white lettering. but honestly, i was expecting some horrendous and i would send those out. JMO.

I'll be completely honest with you- after seeing these, I was expecting something UGLY. These don't look that bad. The colors don't match but they look alright.

Oh my goodness that is not bad at all!!!

IMO i think you should just send those out. To be honest with you, white may stick out TOO much on the print....

I think they look fine.The way you made them sound I was so scared to look haha

Honestly they're not bad....from the way you described it I pictured much worse than that. I'd say roll with it and don't sweat the small stuff.

I agree - I thought they would be awful but they're fine. I'd send them out. People will just be so happy to get them!

Thanks so much for your honest opinions! I just was talking to my father and he said that he doesn't like them either, and he said he will give me the $50 bucks if I want to reorder them. Maybe i will just send them out and use the $50 towards invitations or something. Thank God for Daddy's!!!
