I was reading your post and thinking how I can totally relate b/c I feel the same way, a little overwhelmed! Then to your update, WOW, congratulations! IMO I would just go with everything as planned...you've come so far and are so close...It will all work out and be beautiful and then shortly after the wedding you will be a new mommy!!

Don't worry about you are not going to be the first pregnant bride. Are you able to ask the store where you bought your gown to order you a larger size? If so get it and then if you show you will fit into it and if you don't they can alter it for you. Just think how you will be glowing that day between being a happy bride and the fact that you are going to have a little one. It will all work out.

Not to be a downer, but it might be a good idea to go to a doc to be 100% sure before you stress yourself even more changing plans. Good luck! I really believe that everything happens for a reason, and it all works out in the end!!

I called my doctor.. and they said the home preg tests are very accurate. I wanted to come in tonight but the told me they can't do anything until I'm like 8 weeks in (they do blood tests at 8 weeks), and I'm just like 4 weeks and they would just re-test me with a home test like I just took.. I guess I have to wait another month and just plan my wedding accordingly! Anyone know about David's policy on exchanges?

I just had to exchange my gown at David's. I was all ready for them to give me a hard time and it was nothing. As long as it's an even exchange you shouldn't have a problem -- and ask them to call their HQ to find out if the dress is in stock at the warehouse so you can get it right away!

Wow, congrats first of, take a deep deep breath and just think of what you want to do, only you & FH can decide, you will only be about 3 or 4 months pregenant at the time of your wedding, so I dont see why you dont go for it, you wont even we showing yet Im sure......Best of luck with everything and be sure to take it easy, you have all these happy things coming your way, take them all in one by one and enjoy it all....

First off congrats on your pregnancy . As for showing it depends of your body. I am 4 months pregnant now and I am showing a little. If you opt for an empire waist no one will be the wiser. If you go for a fitted dress you will have a baby bump starting a couple inches below your belly button. Best of luck mommy to be

Congratulations! Most of my friends popped around 5 mo., so you will probably only show a little by the date of the wedding.

I went to David's but didn't end up buying my dress there, and they seemed very accomodating.

Either way, don't worry - this is great news!

Congratulations!

I had to exchange my dress at David's because I had the wrong size. As long as you have the tags on & the receipt they probably will not give you any trouble with exchanging. As far as how much you'll be showing showing, I'm assuming you'll be between 14 & 16 weeks at your wedding if I'm counting correctly. I just started getting a little pouch at around 15 or 16 weeks. I wasn't noticeable & out of my regular clothes until about 17 or 18 weeks. It really depends on your body. It may be a good idea to have a corset back put into your dress for a little extra give.

OMG.. WOW.. that's a lot to swallow.. but CONGRATS!!! I think it's wonderful that you are pregnant.. I wouldn't move the wedding date up.. you shouldn't be showing THAT much by the wedding.. and worse case scenario.. buy an empire cut dress and no one will ever know the difference!!!
