Update: Rescheduled dress apt w/shoe pix (unfortunately no dress pix yet)

Because of the snow/ice storm last week I had to re-schedule my first fitting. I've already packed my bag up with shoes and camera and will try to post pix if i'm not too tired when I get home.

It actually works for me because on Friday my second pair of shoes came in!!!! I already had a nice pair but wanted something a little more comfortable for the reception. I'm trying to figure out when i'm gonna put them on though. They're really comfortable BUT because they're platform they seem to be a little too heavy for the first dance. I tried them during our lessons last week but I had a problem moving with them.

Update:

I'm back from my appointment tonight. It went as well as can be expected I guess. For the first time it wasn't a complete zoo in the store. It was actually empty for a change but I guess thats partly because we got there before 5 before most girls get off of work.I was planning on just buying my bra there but they didn't have any in stock that fit me so I was a little dissapointed but overall I'm feeling MUCH better about BE. They remembered to order extra fabric for me which was a relief. They are going to make a shrug for me PLUS, they kept their promise to put my payment for the 'loaner' dress towards the final amount (if anyone even remembers that story from back when).

My only real concern was that they couldn't find my veil. I had purchased the sample about a month ago and they were supposed to leave it with my dress. Well, that didn't happen and they had it down that I took it home with me (which wasn't the case). Thankfully, Phylis promised to order me a brand new one if they can't find it. Hopefully they'll have it when I come in next time.

They're taking everything in and I made another appointment in Jan. I'm soooooooo glad that I ordered before they doubled their alterations pricing.

Unfortunately I don't have pix yet, my mom took a few but I don't think i'll get them until after my hair trial on Friday.

OH and my mom HATES the shoes she thinks they're ugly and doesn't understand why I would want to wear them.

My shoes for my wedding day cost $3. 2 pairs of white @ $1 each, then I'm getting crazy and putting on my pink ones @ $1. GOTTA LOVE OLD NAVY!!!

LOL...thats why I love ebay...I got mine for $25 with shipping...supposedly they retail around $60.

i love volatiles!!!!!!!!! i have like 8 pairs of them... all different colors and styles haha.. very cute!!

Yay now i can tll my mom I know somone else that has almost the SAME shoes for their wedding....not that that helps.

She asked me, 'Why in the world would you want blue sneakers, what are you going to do with them after the wedding' I'm like UH something blue!!!!

I'd totally wear them after the wedding.
