Update to troubles with FMIL/FSIL

As some of you are aware, I've been having some FMIL/FSIL issues within the past few weeks. Both said some things about me and to me that hurt my feelings. Appararently I am some kind of a raging Bi*tch. I hadnt been to FH's house in almost a month until last night........

So I decided to go to FMIL's house last night to see FH (he is living there until the wedding). Well, I said a polite hello and she responsed...and that was it. The whole time I was there she didnt say another word to me. FSIL later arrived and didnt say anything to me when I was there.

So later I went back to my house with FH and I asked him if FMIL knows how I am feeling. He said that he told her last week after she asked where I had been. Well, she is now mad that I am upset with her. She is also mad that we went to our hall a few days ago to check some stuff out and she wasnt asked to go with us. I feel like she has NO NEED to be there. She went with us to an expo at the hall and she went with us to book it (both events we took both of our moms). She isnt paying for anything, so I feel like I dont need to invite her every time we go. FH and I wanted to go alone!!!

I am so frustrated!!! It seems like I cant do anything right in her eyes. I dont know what to do at this point.

This is such a hard situation, but IMHO, do what you and your FH want to do and forget about everyone else. You are never going to be able to please everyone. Try to stay away from the house, she'll eventually get over it. If not, just think all the stress you'll save yourself from seeing her and FSIL. Good luck!!!

I know how you feel. FBIL and his wife have not liked me or even been remotely nice to me since I met them. It seems like you have a good relationship with them to began with so I am sure everything will work out. My situation is hopeless. It got so bad FBIL and FH are not even speaking and FBIL doesn't want to come to our wedding. The best thing is when FH asked his brother what their problem is with me....they don't have an answer!!!!! They just suck!
