Update: I called my bridal shop and asked her if she would be willing to switch my veil to the second (longer) one. She had already started working on the original and I was almost positive she was going to kill me and tell me no. Well, she emailed me back saying 'YES'!!!!!! I'm so excited!!! I realized as you were all responding to my poll that I was absolutely in love with the longer veil. I never thought I'd like it, but it just felt so much more natural with my dress. I'm so excited now! Thank you all for your opinions and for your wonderful comments on my dress -- it really made me so happy that I chose this dress. You girls are such a huge help!
Pics are in my album. The first veil is the one I ordered already. The second veil (if you scroll down a bit) is one that i tried on a few days ago. I cant decide which length looks best.
Also, for some reason I feel like my torso looks really short and wide in the dress at the last fitting (the pics with the sleeves). I'm not sure what's causing this -- I wonder if its the hoop skirt??

the longer veil is so much better - the beading on it is far below the beading on your dress, so it isn't competing with it....

I like the longer veil better. The beading on the shorter one covered up the detail on the dress. You look gorgeous in your dress! I don't think you look too short-waisted at all.

I voted shorter veil! I just like the look better...first off you are a skinny b*tch (I mean that in the nicest way possible!) and it is probably just the angle you took the picture on that is causing you to appear a little more thick (but sitll gorgeous and thin!)

The second veil is beautifu but I think the first one compliments and meshes (sp?) with the dress but the second one falls in a wierd place on the dress. The first time I saw your pics I thought the embroidery on your first veil was part of the dress! It fits very nicely. And you look very beautiful in your dress!
