Some advice? If you do need a root canal, get it done with an ondontist if you can, instead of a regular dentist. The ondontist has sophisticated equipment that maps your tooth and gets him exactly where he needs to go to finish it up in one visit, and with less pain, where a root canal at a dentist might take you 3 or 4 visits. Why don't you check into it and see if your insurance covers it? Or if your dentist has someone he can recommend.
If you're in pain, why is he making you wait weeks for your next appointment?

it was my choice to wait, i would rather go when i am prepared for it, lol...and i think it may take a while to do, i was already there for a little over an hour
