My friend was due in november but she went into labor yesterday and the baby was born 4 months prematurely! The doctors dont think he's going to make it. My friend had 1 miscarrage and now this! Please send prayers!

Update:
Well, my friend decided to name her son Tristan. Tristan is not gaining weight and is not taking in any nutrition b/c there are problems with his intestins. There is also a hole in his heart. He is in critical condition now and my friend is loosing hope. Please send more prayers for this poor little guy! my heart is breaking for my friend and her family!

I remember back in November, it was in newsday...a aby born 4 month premature was going home for Christmas, she beat the odds! Lets pray that your friends son beats them too!!

I've met two children who were born 4 months early, both born weighing about 1lb. each. I wish your friend and her newborn the best!

How are they doing? This summer I taught special ed summer school and had 4 year olds. There was one boy in my class that was born 4 months prematurely also and he has major disabilities- mental and physical!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out well for my friend's son. I havent heard any news yet, which I'm guessing (and hoping) it's good!

Well, since I also work in special ed., usually I see children who are handicapped. One child turned out with LD and the other was multiply handicapped with a few different medical conditions as well (and the sweetest little girl you ever met).
