Hello Ladies, I bought my dress and I am so excited to finally post it on here. I found the cutest little boutique in Princeton NJ and the owner is amazing, the prices unbeatable!!! I looked far and wide and I am glad I held out for this place because she truly made me happy to be purchasing from her.

Also what is everyone's thoughts on the cathedral veil?

LOVE the veil. can't see the dress that well but it looks really pretty. post more pics when you can - I'd love to see the detail on the dress and veil.

Gorgeous!!! I would try it on with a cathedral & see what you like better- cathedrals are gorgeous but the one you have on in the pic looks perfect with the dress too!!

The designer is Augusta Jones, are her designs are stunning, timeless, and sooo affordable. I searched far and wide and nothing surpassed this dress, close second though was another one of her designs.

I think I maybe a little confused, I thought I was wearing a cathedral viel in these pictures? If not, what is it?

Regarding your question/confusion - the veil you are wearing in the pics is a mantilla veil and it seems to be fingertip length - it's beautiful!

A cathedral veil is a LONG veil that extends to where your train ends or beyond (it can be as long as you want). You can have a mantilla style cathedral veil (with the lace edging like the one you have) or a plain one.

I wore a fingertip veil with beading and also a cathedral layer under it for the church. Then I took off the cathedral layer and left just the fingertip for my reception.

I hope that helps a bit!

That helps sooo mcuh, thank you. You have all the lingo down!!!! I think the only drawback for me in wearing a floorlength is that it will cover a lo of the detail on the back. But on the other hand it is soooo romantic... Aghhh, what to do?

OH my gosh you girls are so sweet. I actually posted this also on brides helping brides and quiet a few people seem to not like the look too much so I will stick with the opinions on this poll!!!

its a lace dress so I think the fingertip mantilla is your best option

The veil you're wearing is a fingertip length mantilla veil. The cathedral veils are long, go past your dress.
