Updated: DH was released. He just pulled a muscle

DH's supervisor just called me to tell me that the ambulance was coming to bring him to the hospital because he had tightness under his arm and on his chest. They said that they do not think that it is his heart but they are taking him to do an EKG just to make sure. The thing that bothers me is that he is in LI and I am at work in the city. I just wish that I could be there with him.

My Dh went thru something similar a few months back - it turned out to be a hietal hernia, not a heart attack.

I hope all is well. What hospital are they taking him to.

Leave work! It's your husband! Even if it's nothing serious (which I hope it is not), he's probably scared and wants you by his side.

They were bringing him to Syosset hospital which is right down the road from work. I can't leave right now and he told me not to leave because he was going to be ok. They were bringing him there just to make sure that everything was ok. He was fine last night. This all started this morning.

I'm sure he'll be just fine. I would tell your supervisor what's going on and let him/her know you would appreciate leaving early today. I would think they would understand and let you go see your husband.

The only thing is that we live in Brooklyn and he has the car. I think that by the time I get there he will be on his way back.

There's a train station a few block from the hospital, if that helps any.

he is going to be ok, but if I was you, I will leave, he is probably going home after and not back to work, so you can meet him at home
