Haven't tried it on yet. I went to the Bridal Buliding today and did not see anything that I really liked. I'm going to Kleinfeld's tomorrow and am trying to print out some styles. I thought this dress was really nice and different but my MOH says she thinks it is 'weird looking.' I know its up to me, but sine the ladies at LIW have great taste, figured I'd get some opinions

I've seen lots of that style of dress this season and last. It's nice, but not the best one that I've seen. I'm not a big fan of the folding on the bodice, or the 'puffy sticker' look. If you're a fan of that shape, I'm sure you can find several of them to compare.

I LOVE the bottom of the dress......but there is something about the bodice that bothers me......not sure what though

Yeah, the bottom is really my favorite part, esp. the bow. I think it would be nicer if the top was either plain, or just lace. Not crazy abut the beading on this one. Well, hopefully I'll find something similar tomorrow. Thanks.

It will look great on a certain body type.... And I havent looked at your pics yet but if you are looking at this type of gown, I am sure you are confident in that you can pull it off

i like it but i have seen other designers put out that style and i like those better.
Namely Melissa Sweet ....but I'm biased I LOVE HER
If you have to bod for it, I think it could be gorgeous! I find the mermaid style very hard to wear on most people.

I love it. I tried on some mermaid dresses and the one thing I found is that they made my hips look huge. I am only a size six and I don't have big hips so it is definitely only for people with very paticular body types but if you can pull it off then go for it! It's a beautiful dress.

Same here I love the look if you can pull it off go for it. Since I'm pretty short, it made me look even shorter ... so I could never opt for that dress but if you can pull it off definately go for it!!! It reminds me of runway...couture...hot!

look at some of the maggie sottero dresses too. there are some mermaid styles in the collection i've tried on. the problem with the mermaid style dress is that it restricts the ability of your legs to move freely. but i love the look.
