UPDATED: Going to Westbury Manor tonight...
Hi Ladies!
I am going to my cousins communion party tonight at Westbury Manor! I am so excited to taste the food and see how pretty the rooms are when all set up
Mini-review when I get back tonight!!!
ETA the review:
The communion party was held in the upstairs room (The Hill Rom)... The cocktail hour had a cute little balcony where people could sit/eat/drink.The bridal suite seems a little small, but I guess if you have your event upstairs you probably have a smaller guest list and bridal party. There are separate bathrooms upstairs as well so you don't have to share with the event downstairs. There is only one stall in the bathroom but there are mirrors where you can see your front and back (This could be helpful for the bride
)
The food was really good! Our first plate was a cold antipasto with cheese, salami, red peppers, olives, lettuce, etc. I had a piece of wheat bread with it which was really fresh. Then we had a pasta dish with marina sauce. The pasta was a perfect al dente and the sauce was amazing! For my entree I got the filet mignon which came out pretty good - it was just a bit dry, but the potatoes that came with it were amazing. It was regular mashed potatoes with some mashed sweet potato on top (YUM!) They had an an open bar but there was also red and white wine placed at each table. The Merlot (red) was so good I think I drank most of the bottle! lol (I didn't taste the white.) My aunt and uncle brought a cake from an outside vendor so no review on the WM cake.
The service was great. All of our food was served hot and the wait staff were really friendly and quick to serve.
I hope my review helps someone... I wish I went to a party in my room (Manor Room) with my menu
but overall good experience![]()
