Ok , so they aren't 100% finished, but they are about 75% there. We need some more wall decor and then there's always the handcuff rail that needs to be installed.
Bedroom before:
We still need to find closet doors, but you get the idea.
After:
The guest room before:
Please don't mind the home depot bag on the bed, or the crumpled pillows. BM thinks it's funny to eff w/ my pillows, that makes me mad
Now, the pes de resistance, this is what happens when BM installs a ceiling fan but uses me as an apprentice .
He said, guide the wire, which is what I did, well a scene from Money Pit later and BM realizing he actually DOESN'T know how to hard wire a switch, this is what you get:

floors look awesome lady.
I can't believe you kept your promise. I was about to text you last night and remind you again.
I went to Home Goods, I scoped out chairs and ottomans for your azz. Nada.
I love when people do what I ask.

I love. Your bedroom looks so luxurious. Might I add- that daybed in the guestroom- totally the bed I had my whole life. Right down to the porcelain knobs.
ETA- I HATE when Victor uses me an apprentice for electrical work, but mostly bc he knows what he's doing, and yells at me for my cluelessness. See, there is just no good turnout. I love th epatch job though.

Funny, I had a day bed for a while too.
That thing was SQUEAKY though after a while. Had to get rid of it cause it was killing my flow.

Ohh love! Love the color of the guest room, and the color scheme in the master bedroom.
I have to post pics of my abode. I have to charge the camera.....I am the laziest basstaad ever
ETA: Where art thou roman shades from? I ordered mine, but they don't fit right, so I am again on the hunt for two sets for my upstairs bathrooms

Daybed was a freebie. I wouldn't have picked big brass knobs - but free is free.

WOW! Those floors!
Rob doesn't EVER ask me to help with anything. He is afraid I will f it up. And he is probably right. The deal is that I read, play with the kids and cook - and he does the labor and most of the cleaning.
