UPDATE: Thanks for all of the support girls, and a special thank you to the girls who sent me FM with openings they know of. I took a few days to sulk and am now pulling my head out of my a**. I am going to begin looking, but should be okay money wise. It just doesn't make sense to start something new until after the wedding, so I'm going to make the most of my time and turn this into something good. I'm going to do some consulting work to keep busy, and get into a strict workout routine, and finish planning this wedding! At least it's summer and not winter time!!! Haha! But seriously, thanks again. I really appreciate it! You girls never cease to amaze me!
Just what I needed before the wedding. My whole department is being let go because the company is moving it to Florida. I have to tell my staff today and then I can leave and gather my thoughts. My VP wants me to work with him on a tarnsition plan for the next 3 weeks and go to Florida to train his new people. And then I get 2 weeks severance. SO in 5 weeks, I have no pay. Luckily I was talking to my old boss the other day about doing consulting work for him.
Sooo, anyone know of any marketing jobs?

Aww that stinks. I am sorry I am sure from networking around you will get something even better.. we are hiring sales for the collection agency I work for... don't know if that is your thing. Either way good luck on a new venture

awwww wow that stinks but at least you have some heads up for yourself! that stinks about the staff... actually my FH just informed me to watch my spending because today they layed off a bunch of people (one was on his team) and he said for now he has a job but who knows & he just put in for a management job that was just posted but that is on hold for a little while...

That just totally STINKS, I am sorry and I hope it doesn't add too much stress to your life right before the wedding...
