Today is just another day that I am reminded how truly blessed and lucky I am to have such an incredable man in my life. I am about to embark on soemthing that is soo important to me and something that truly changed my life, and FH supported me today through donating to my cause and his loving words. Just writing this makes me want to cry.... I sent out an email to my nearest and dearest asking to donate for a suicide prevention overnight walk that I am doing in NYC to honor my best friend James, who took his life off of the Arc de Triumph in Paris three years ago (right after i visited him) Few hours pass after my email and then I get an email that I have a $200 donation and the following message:

'My love - What you are doing is a very respectable and honorable thing. I love that you take the time to do things like this. I know how much of your life was impacted by this tragic event and I am so sorry that I was not able to meet James. Believe me, I wish that I could have known him and saw all the wonderful things that you did. Feel special for having met such a memorable person as him in life, even if just for a short time. I love you'

I love him so much and I just feel so lucky right now. I wanted to share with you girls... We have really found special people and we must hold on tight

In honor of my friend, I have attached a few of my favorite photos of us... Please let me know if you are interested in getting involved, walking, joining a team, etc.

He is incredably sensitive and his words are always so sincere, deep, and beautiful. i am just soo happy to have him

What a beautiful story. That brought tears to my eyes. I'm so sorry that you lost a great friend but you are a wonderful person for turning it into something positive!

Aww, I got goosebumps reading this. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend. It's a wonderful thing you are doing in his memory, and even more wonderful that your FH supports it. You are both obviously very compassionate people.

I am so sorry that you had to go through such a tragic event. You seem to have an awesome FH as well you should. I think it is an amazing cause that many people(including myself) do not think about unless they have been impacted with it. Thanks for sharing your story, it truly touched me!

OMG I got goosebumps just reading that and it brought tears to my eyes I am so sorry you had to go through such a horrible situation but I think this is a great thing you are doing to honor your friend. That was so sweet of your FH. You are both meant for each other and are lucky to have each other.

That is def a man to keep. Good luck with the walk. It is for a very good cause. Unfortunately the signs sometimes are easily overlooked. In hindsight, you see 20x20. My heart goes out to you.

What a touching story. I'm so sorry for your loss. I think you are doing a wonderful thing by participating in the walk and your FH is a pretty amazing guy for recognizing the importance of what you are doing for your friend's memory.
