Updated: I have such a pit in my stomach

Fh has been sick since Sunday with a temp that runs as high as 102.5- at first we thought it was dehydration- but my mom thinks his symptoms are consistent with lymes disease- he is at the doctor now waiting to be tested- please send him your prayers & good thoughts that he's ok... I am a nervous wreck!

Update: he just left the doctor & they took blood and told him to come back friday for the results- we just had a huge fight on the phone because I think he needs to go to the ER rather than wait and he's like we'll see what happens, but so much could happen in two days & the doctor was like none of your symptoms are consistent with anything

The good news is that I believe lyme's is easily 'curable.' I don't know if you're every really cured, but FH and his mother both had it and are 100% fine.

thanks girls- I am at work which is makiing me more panicy because I cant be with him- I feel like the worst fiancee ever!

it could just be a strong virus. I was sick in 2004 for 2 weeks with bizarre symptoms, fever, pink eye in both eyes, rash, ear infection, cough, stomach problems, 100's of mouth sores - so bad i couldnt speak or eat. They tested me for everything under the sun and more and everything was negative. It went away on its own but virus's can be frustrating and theres really nothing that can be done. Just make sure your FH drinks lots and lots of water, takes motrin to lower the fever, rests and if he gets any worse or spikes a higher fever go to the ER.

You know how men are....they are sooo stubborn. FH is the same way...he avoids going to the doctor at all costs!

Well I hope his results come back neg. and he gets better!
