I will be in the doctors office getting prepped for Lasik eye surgery and I am FREKAING OUT!!!!!!!!!!! I know it is a quick procedure but I am SUPER nervous! I am not even worried about the surgery so much I am more scared of the deivce they use to force your eyes open! It remind me of some sort of torture instrument they would use in the Saw movies!
I am praying that I don;t completely lose it before I go under! I don;t think I have ever been so nervous in all my life!!!
Okay so I had the surgery and I feel AWESOME!!!!! My vision is still a little blurry when looking at bright objects (ie: a computer screen) but for the first time in my life I am seeing 20/20!!!! The surgery itself was freaky but sooooo not worth me getting sick like I did!!! Overall, I would say it was a HUGE success!!!! If anybody wants particular info (like place, price, etc) feel free to FM me.... I know the surgery is not for everyone.....but for me it was the best thing I could have possibly done!!!!

OMG!!! lemme just say congrats on being brave enough to do it!!! i have been puttin it off for years now... and i said alright thats it... this is thelast time im buying contacts... i would like to get the surgery done this sumemr!!!

Dont worry! My sis and good friends have had it and the said it wasnt bad, lasted for10 minutes and its amazing! You can do it!

Out of all the people I know who have had it done, only one person said the eye opener contraption freaked him out (and notice I said HIM -- yup...it was this big hunk of a guy who got all nervous!)
Good luck and think of happy you'll be when you don't have to fumble for glasses or contacts again!

You'll be fine. My friend Tony just had this done a couple of weeks ago. He loves it! And it freaks him out that he doesn't need glasses anymore. Which Doc are you going to?

Oh... I need info on that... I want to see if I can get it done before I switch jobs (and therefore insurances...) I want to be able to see FH's face when i walk down the aisle and contacts and me just don't work!
