MY GOD! That came out AMAZING!
You did the coloring with a Sharpie? How long did it take you to do? Did you have any help? What do you plan to do with it after the wedding? Can I ask how much it cost to make? Sorry...I'm full of questions, because I am debating doing one myself.

i did all the coloring with a sharpie lol it took awhile but i did it by myself..prob about 2 hrs to trace and then color in everything

im hoping to be able to put the part with the monogram on the cake table..like this pic :

and after the wedding i may frame the monogram part? im not sure

i bought the material for the runner at joannes- i bought white bleached muslin (its 45 inch wide and the whole roll was 25 yards long- 75 feet) but you can take it up to the cutting table if you dont need quite as much and with the 40% coupon it cost me like $30, then i also really wanted ribbon on the sides and luckily i still had a ton of ribbon left over from my invites but i had to buy some more and that cost like $10, then the sharpie markers which i bought 3 in case they ran out so all together id say a little less then $50

HTH!

It looks awesome!!! I would have never known you used a sharpie! I think they should give you a commercial, Sharpie, 'WRITE OUT LOUD' with your DIY aisle runner in the background!!

WOW!! What a beautiful job you did...I'm so impressed. Traced or not, that was still A LOT of work...you're very talented and artistic.

Beautiful! You did a great job!

So when the wedding is over if you want to provide step by step instructions I would love to see how you did this!

first i bought the material from joannes fabric and crafts (i bought 25 yards of white bleached muslin) it comes in a huge roll

then read the post above for how i did the lettering

then i hot glued ribbon to the sides....its time consuming but really easy to do!

thanks. I think I will try this (maybe on the free runner the limo company gives me!)
