updated--w/a pic of what I mean....HELP-- I have a question for those of you who have curtains and drapes
My Ivory panel finally came in---the drapes/ the sides are tieds back my question is this I noticed the middle panel touches my floor while the drapes, since they are tied back w/ the tie backs are slightly not even an inch above the panel so the panel is lower than the drapes
I just saw three pics in the fortunoff catalog where the panel was slightly lower than the drapes is this okay?? I dont think it looks that bad or pays to hem??? It is so slight
what should I do? Leave it or try to make them match?

It would probably drive me nuts to see the sheer panel poking out from under the drapes but I am anal retentive.
Instead of paying to have them hemmed, could you just spin the rod a little so that the panel is a little bit shorter?

I *think* what she means is to have the panel wrap around the rod once, the way your toilet paper wraps around...sorry for the analogy but thats what came to mind
But that should pull it up just enough to meet the other curtains...

I'd probably just leave it.
I think Stef meant rotate the rod, not the brackets 360 degrees so that the fabric is taken up on the top

I wonder if it can be wrapped around b/c it has the puffy top? Dont know what its called so once I put it thru the rod, well--- if I wrap around I wont be able to get to the opening to put it thru the rod

I have my drapes 'Romaned' (bunched in the middle and overlapping the tassel) so they are shorter than the panels. As long as they are balanced, it's fine. I also have another set that is half-draped on one side and the other reaches the floor (sort of like a hangman thing) - - you can have them any way you want as long as it is hung properly.

Yes, I meant wrapping it like toilet paper. It wont look so nice on top but that will be hidden by the drapes anyway.
