Updated.Please help me decide. Which dress for the shower? Which dress for the rehearsal Brunch (daytime)?

I've shopped everywhere and these are the only two dresses I found which I liked (Yeah, I know they are both pink... seemed like everything was pink).

Oh, the other one is solid pink linen, same style as the stripped one. The website didn't have a pic of it.

ETA: I've bought both.
Which one do I wear to the rehearsal brunch and which to the shower? That's really the question I'm asking, sorry if it wasn't clear

I think the first one would be perfect for the Rehersal Dinner, and the second for the bridal shower.

Actually, I edited my post above. Thanks for the input.

Which one for my bridal shower and the other would be for my rehearsal brunch?

yep i am with May05 on this - as the RD is a bit more 'dress up' so i think the black would be nicer for that.

Thanks LP. I hope it is. FH's family is a bit too much on the casual side and because it's a brunch I'm trying to spread the word about shirts and ties. MyFMIL was the one that wanted to have it at the local Chinese restaurant

I thought I'd add a pink pashmina to the black dress to soften it up a bit.

I would say the first to the rehearsal brunch and the second to the shower.

I agree! Especially because you're having a rehearsal brunch, not a dinner, so it's a perfect daytime dress.

which do you think is going to be the more 'formal' event? i think the first dress, being black, looks more formal than the second dress. so i would wear the black one to the fancier pf the two parties.

I like first one for your shower-its really nice...and the second (which is also really nice) would be nice for your rehearsal since it is a brunch! But what do I know? that' s just my opinion!
