I have not been on too much lately. I had surgery 2 weeks ago that went worse than expected. I am concerned that I might not be well enough to walk for the wedding day. FH doesn't want me to think like that though. I thought I would be out of work no more than a week. I am out of sick time and I still can't go back for another 2 weeks. I have not been able to sit at the computer much or for long periods. This is the first full day I have not taken any prescription pain meds, although I might take some for bed. I can't sleep good either. I ended back up in the ER last night and have 4 doctor appointments tomorrow-maybe more. I was glad that I was able to get the marriage license today and I started doing some DIY which motivated FH to do some too We are making candle centerpieces, so I was able to get the ribbons and bows glued onto the candles and FH finished glueing the lace onto the glass for the centerpiece that the candle will lay on. We just have to glues the glass rocks onto the glass as well as the candle. That should go quick. We still need to finish our song selections by the 15th-latest for the DJ. FH has been doing everything around here, he is so exhausted. He has been completely caring for me, driving me everywhere, cooking and cleaning. I can't even shower without his help. I have lost all my shame this week with him, all that he has done to help me.

You got the most important thing...the license!!! Congrats to that!!! I pray you feel better and your doc appts go well tomorrow. Keep us posted. And if you need any last min help, just ask the most un DIY gal (ME!) possible and I'll try to help!!!

I also forgot to mention the Sunday before last-8/3 was my shower. It was at my mom's. It was really nice and I got some nice gifts, just not a whole lot on my registry. I thought I would be up and running by then but I was in so much pain I think people noticed and felt bad that a lot left after about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. FH had to stay and help me. He carried me in the house-step by step. It was quite funny as people waited for me to get in with the cameras!! We forgot ours, so I am waiting for the pics. I also got the coffeepot today in the mail, from FH's aunt, that I really wanted. We got a couple of dups off the registry too, which I need to try and get there to exchange. It was a great time otherwise. I know my mom and very pregnant sister did so much to make it a great day for me. My mother made an amazing cake doll-with the bride in the middle and girls for the BM and I think she included one each for the Fg and jr BM.
